Walnut Acoustics conducted a comprehensive noise assessment, ensuring the project met BS 8233:2014 criteria and local authority planning conditions while maintaining acceptable living standards for future occupants.

Noise assessments are a key part of securing planning approval in new residential developments where planners are concerned about the potential impacts of nearby transportation, commercial and industrial noise sources.  In this project the dominant noise source was a major motorway which created elevated noise levels across the site.

Walnut Acoustics provided a detailed Noise Impact Assessment (NIA) to support the planning application for this large-scale solar farm and battery storage facility (BESS), addressing environmental noise concerns and securing approval.
